Just assume, you are in a situation where your mobile runs out of space to capture the images and you don’t have a time to clear the space also. In that situation this trick will work.

.
Example: Let’s assume, you are asked to capture a fruit using your camera phone in a hurry mood. On an average the size the captured image will be around 2–5 MB depends on your camera quality. But your phone runs out of memory and it’s not allowing to snap even a single photo (assume you don’t have a time to clear the space). Then, using your mobile camera, point towards the fruit and take a screenshot of the mobile screen. Bloom!!!!! No doubt it’ll capture the image along with some symbols appearing on the camera screen. One thing to observe here is that, the memory of the screenshot will be small and it’ll be around 1–3 MB depends on your screen’s PPI.
In the following two images, first one was captured using camera (3.2 MB) and second is screenshot (1.1 MB).
Screenshot of mobile screen can be taken based on the device’s model.
- Press ‘Home button’+’Volume down button’ (or)
- Press ‘Power button’+’Volume down button’(or)
- Long press ‘Power button’ and choose the screenshot option from available options. (or)
- Choose ‘Screenshot’ symbol from the notification bar (or)
- Some devices have gestures to take the screenshots.
